Geography should spark curiosity and offer explanations about the natural and human world, helping children understand both global environments and their own place within them. Our curriculum develops investigative skills and deepens pupils’ knowledge of diverse places, people, resources, and physical and human processes, enabling them to recognise how these elements interact to shape landscapes and environments. We aim to inspire lifelong fascination with the world while also instilling a love of history through an engaging, inclusive curriculum that reflects a range of backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. From EYFS to the end of KS2, children learn about significant events, key historical figures, and how these fit within a wider historical timeline.
